Our weekend

This weekend we were all suppose to go to Mt. Home due to my cousins from Iowa was getting to take a vacation. Well the floods in the state just happen to hit there town and they could not get off work to come. So hopefully another time we can all meet there and get together. So on that, I decided that I wanted to just take a break from everything and relax. Did that happen???
NO!!! My bright idea was to finish out our remodel on the house. That was to paint the kitchen. So I began on Friday, the day we should of left. I think it turned out great. I ended up doing more than I wanted to, but it was all worth it. I decided to put up some crown molding. That is not cheap, but makes a huge difference in the whole look. I think I want to put in the bedroom now. Jason and I did very well and got it completely done today. Yea! So my weekend was busy and my legs are killing me.

On the sports note. We are done, I think. We have not received a call from any of the boys coaches.

Oh Yea, in two weekends from now the boys (all of them) are going to go to Mt. Home for 11 days. Jason and I are thinking about going to Hot Springs, and maybe the casino, which I have never been. We are going to try to live it up while they are away and in good hands.

The weather here this week has been rainy, rainy, rainy. Next week we will be celebrating Kyle's 6th birthday even though he did already turn 6 Friday. The reason we are doing it late was we were suppose to be in Mt. Home on his real birthday. Kyle's new found thing to eat is chicken wings. He can eat 13 of those little suckers. Every time we ask him what he wants to eat it is chicken wings. He has a loose tooth, which is totally sad for me. I have no more babies!!! All my kiddos are growing up and I am getting old!!

Here is a slide of the kitchen redo and some of Peyton at his game.
